Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant to support daily food preparation and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and catering stations. You will assist with deliveries, stock organisation, and serving customers according to the chefs' menu.

Ideal candidates have basic knife skills, time-management, and the ability to work under pressure while standing for extended periods. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen is valued but not essential.
• Basic catering and hospitality certificate is desirable; training provided.
• Must have basic knife skills and food prep abilities.
• Good time-management and organisational abilities are important.
• Ability to stand for extended periods is often required.

Responsibilities

• Help with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, trimming, and making sandwiches and salads.
• Be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area and equipment. This includes cleaning utensils, tableware, and catering stations.
• Assist with receiving and unpacking all deliveries and ensure that the food and supply storage areas are organised.
• Serve food items to customers in accordance with the menu prepared by the Chefs.
• Top up the vending services daily.
