Bellrock is seeking a Catering Operative in Bolton to support the Cook Supervisor and deliver catering services in line with the Services Output Specification. You will assist in daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards while providing reliable service to customers.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate food handling and effective stock management, with opportunities to develop through training in Food Safety and Health & Safety.

Qualifications

• Food safety practices must be followed in all catering activities.
• Customer service skills to assist diners.
• Ability to work as part of a catering team.
• Good timekeeping and reliability required.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure during service.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations helpful.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and cooking with hygiene controls.
• Manage allergen risk and maintain documentation.
• Stock control and waste management to maximise value.
• Serve meals and record temperatures as required.
• Work in a safe, clean kitchen and maintain Food Safety Logbook.
• Attend training in Food Safety, Nutrition and Health and Safety.
