Job Introduction

Catering Manager - Reading

Up to £38,000 per annum (DOE)
Monday - Friday role!

40 hours per week

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Catering Manager to join our team in Reading. You will be providing outstanding service to staff and customers while guiding and motivating your team to excel. As the Catering Manager, you need to be commercially aware, with the presence and personality to influence daily operations. You'll maximize your team's performance, leading by example and setting high standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Prepare high-quality, delicious food that delights clients and customers
• Maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen and front of house
• Ensure proper use of all kitchen machinery and equipment
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations
• Complete weekly reports and bookwork
• Manage stock taking and ordering

Services include

Breakfast, lunch, hospitality, coffee shop, and retail.

About You

• Excellent culinary skills with experience in contract catering within a B&I environment
• Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of engaging and motivating others
• Experience managing client relationships
• Results-driven with a focus on quality and processes
• IT literate (MS Office and email)
• Business management experience in a kitchen environment
