Mitie Group plc. is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to oversee on-site operations at B&Q, Burton upon Trent, ensuring high-quality home-cooked meals across all shifts.

You will cover cookingLunch in the chef's absence, manage a diverse team, handle food orders, stock control, and uphold food safety standards. You will contribute to day-to-day operations and long-term planning, including menu development and client relations, while coordinating with onboarding, promotions and KPI reviews

Qualifications

• Experience in catering management and team leadership.
• Ability to oversee on-site operations and menu planning.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and allergen management.
• Experience with stock control and food orders.
• Ability to manage on-site cover and staff scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the unit and ensure high-quality meals.
• Assist with on-site cover as needed.
• Staff scheduling using Mitie's Workplace Plus system.
• Food ordering, deliveries and stock control using Mitie's Saffron System.
• Food safety and allergen management.
• Menu creation and promotions for standardized menus across sites.
• Attend engagement meetings and KPI reviews with clients.
• Handle cash control, safe checks and banking.
