Position: Catering Manager

As a Catering Manager, you will have full financial and operational responsibility for your school's catering facility. You will focus on delivering exceptional service and food with a creative twist to make school mealtimes fun and exciting.

• Monday to Friday working - no weekends!
• 35 hours per week with no late nights
• 38 weeks per year, aligned with school term times (more time for family and friends)

Main Responsibilities

• Managing the team to ensure a consistently excellent dining experience for students and staff, in line with company standards
• Leading the preparation of delicious, nutritious meals of the highest quality, overseeing menu development
• Providing outstanding support and guidance to the team
• Leading, developing, coaching, and training staff positively and motivating them
• Managing all aspects of the catering operation, including stock, food, and labour costs
• Controlling and improving costs
• Driving sales through promotions and value-added events
• Building positive relationships with clients and customers
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and legislation
• Conducting regular audits to maintain standards

Ideal Candidate

• OND or HND qualification preferred
