Job summary

Class 1 Personnel seeks an experienced Catering Manager to support mobilisation and launch of a new secondary school catering operation in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex. The contract runs 2nd–18th September 2026 with pay at £23 per hour plus holiday pay. Enhanced DBS is required. Lead the team, set up operations, and ensure readiness from day one to deliver high standards from day one.

Qualifications

• Experienced Catering Manager or senior catering professional who can lead a team and set up a new site.
• Hands-on leadership to run day-to-day catering operations and ensure readiness from day one.
• Strong focus on hygiene, food service standards and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Supporting mobilisation and opening of the new school site.
• Managing and motivating the catering team.

We're looking for an experienced Catering Manager to support the mobilisation and launch of a new secondary school catering operation in Bexhill-on-Sea.

This is a hands-on opportunity for a confident catering professional who can lead a team, support the setup of a new site and make sure everything is ready to run smoothly from day one.

What you'll be doing
