Job summary

Exemplar Health Care's Coronation Court in Cannock is seeking a Catering Manager to lead the catering team and deliver healthy, appetising meals for residents with complex needs. The role involves managing day-to-day kitchen operations, menu development, and ensuring high food hygiene standards, with weekend work and a 40-hour week.

You will coordinate staff training, manage stock within budget, and maintain records while providing compassionate, patient-focused service aligned with our values.

Join us as our new Catering Manager at Coronation Court care home in Cannock.

As Catering Manager, youll lead our Catering Team in providing healthy and inviting meals for the people we support.

About the role

Our Catering Managers cook delicious and nourishing meals for people with a range of dietary requirements.

• managing the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• preparing, cooking and serving food
• understanding peoples needs, likes and choices to develop suitable menu
• ensuring your Catering Team complies with food hygiene standards
• completing relevant checks and maintaining records
• controlling stock and purchases within an allocated budget
• leading and managing your Catering Team members, ensuring they receive induction, training and support as required
