Sodexo seeks a reliable Goods Receiver in London to check and store deliveries for our catering operation. You’ll manage deliveries from the loading bay through to kitchen and storage areas, ensuring products are accurate, safe and well-organised.

You’ll report to the Head Goods Receiver and play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly, using computer systems to maintain records and support colleagues across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in goods receiving, stock handling or similar role, ideally in catering/hospitality/food service.
• Good understanding of food hygiene, safe food handling, temperature control and storage requirements.
• Knowledge of stock rotation, date labelling and traceability.

Responsabilités

• Receive deliveries and check items against orders for correct products, quantities and sizes.
• Check quality, packaging, use-by dates and temperatures; report issues.
• Move deliveries to cages and distribute stock across floors; unload and store properly.
• Label and rotate stock, maintain traceability and follow FIFO/FEFO as needed.
• Separate raw meat, ready-to-eat and allergen products to prevent cross-contamination.
• Complete delivery records and temperature logs using computer systems.
• Report shortages, discrepancies and rejected products; arrange credit notes when required.
• Keep loading bays and storage areas clean, safe and accessible.
