Job summary

North Ayrshire Council is recruiting a Facilities Assistant/Driver to support the in-house catering service across the council locations, including Irvine. You will prepare and serve meals, operate a till and assist with cleaning duties in a busy kitchen environment.

You will be responsible for safely delivering goods by vehicle to designated locations, working as part of a team, and adhering to food safety and nutritional guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid UK driving licence.
• Ability to work under pressure and be a team player.
• Operate within food safety and nutritional guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals in the kitchen.
• Operate a till and assist with till duties.
• Safely operate a vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations.
