Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council is recruiting Facilities Assistants across various locations in South Lanarkshire, including catering and cleaning roles. Shifts are 6am-9am or 3pm-6pm for cleaning, and 8am-11am or 11am-3:45pm for catering, with 10–15 hours per week.

All posts can be permanent or temporary. Salary ranges from £7,195 to £10,792 annually, with an hourly rate of £13.33. Applicants are advised to check for PVG requirements and local benefit guidance.

Responsibilities

• Preparing meals within recipe guidelines and hygiene practices.
• Carrying out cleaning duties on floors, furniture and sanitary areas; reporting to Cleaning Supervisor.
