Job summary

Partner Services Scotland Ltd in Greenock is seeking a reliable Catering and Cleaning Assistant / Cover Worker to join the team with an immediate start. You will work in the on-site canteen, supporting daily catering operations and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for staff.

Training to join the Cleaning Team is provided so you can support both catering and cleaning duties as required. The role offers regular weekday hours, starting 9am–3pm, with later cleaning shifts as training

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone who is dependable and adaptable across duties.
• Previous catering or cleaning experience is beneficial, but a willingness to learn is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily canteen and catering duties.
• Helping prepare and serve food and refreshments.
• Keeping the canteen, kitchen areas and equipment clean and tidy.
• Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
• Undertaking training to support the site cleaning team.
• Providing flexible cover across catering and cleaning duties when required.
