Job summary

Wren Kitchens Limited in Barton-Upon-Humber is seeking an experienced Chef to join our busy kitchen, based at our brad new, state of the art factory. The role is Monday to Friday, 05:30 - 14:00, with a salary of £31,000 plus Quarterly Bonus up to £250.

You will be serving and handling of food in the canteen, managing inventory and ensuring ingredients are fresh and available to use while complying with nutrition and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications

• Catering to a large volume at a high standard.
• Experience cooking with fresh produce.
• Good cooking and communication skills.
• Strong interest and knowledge of food.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to cover other staff due to holidays, sickness, etc.

Responsibilities

• Serving and handling of food in the canteen.
• Manage inventory and ensure ingredients are fresh and available to use.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and maintaining safety standards.
• Foster a positive and professional environment, working seamlessly with co-workers and customers.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Keep the workstation tidy, including clearing down at the end of the shift, washing up and good observation of cleanliness.
