Job summary

Wren Kitchens is recruiting Mechanical Engineers for our Barton-Upon-Humber factory to join expanding maintenance teams. Candidates will work a rotating shift pattern (mornings/afternoons) or pure afternoons, with a salary range of £39,500 to £43,500.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• An ability to work well under pressure.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• To carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
• Providing rapid and professional response to breakdowns.
• Fault finding, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining equipment and plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time.
• Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximize the operation effectiveness and reliability of the factory and associated systems.
• To assist specialist subcontractor’s requirements, both for PPM and reactive works.
• Utilising the CMMS system to record all works (Shire System).
• Ensure Company & Site, Health & Safety procedures are always followed.
• To proactively work towards the continued success and support of the business with a can-do attitude.
