Job summary

RGIT Australia in Leeds is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant to join our busy kosher kitchen and café team. You will assist with meal prep, café service, cleaning and customer support in a fast-paced environment.

We provide full training, a friendly team, and opportunities to work at events. This role offers varied duties across kitchen and café, with stable ongoing hours and a focus on high cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or kitchen work is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Good hygiene and cleanliness standards are expected.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards.
• Willing to perform kitchen and cleaning duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of meals, salads, and catering items.
• Support food service in the café and at events.
• Set up and clear tables before and after service.
• Operate the till (POS) and process customer orders.
• Provide excellent, friendly customer service.
• Keep kitchen, café, and service areas clean and tidy at all times.
• Wash dishes and maintain hygiene standards.
• Sweep and mop floors and keep areas spotless.
• Assist with stock rotation and replenishing supplies.
• Support catering and events as needed.
