Job summary

Ardingly College is seeking a Catering Assistant to work on Saturdays. The role involves preparation of service and dining areas, serving meals, cleaning equipment and maintaining health and safety standards.

Shifts run from 6:30am to 7:30pm, 8 hours per Saturday, 42 weeks per year. The position offers full training if catering experience is lacking, and staff benefits include complimentary meals and access to the gym and leisure activities.

The Vacancy

Ardingly College is seeking to recruit a Catering Assistant to work on Saturdays.

Main duties will include:

• Preparation of service and dining areas


• Food service


• Cleaning of equipment, utensils and working areas


• Maintaining correct levels of Health and Safety

The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively and work well under pressure. Whilst previous catering experience would be an advantage, full training will be provided.

Working hours

8 hours per day on Saturdays, for 42 weeks per year. Shifts are arranged between the hours of 6.30am and 7.30pm.

Salary

£5,175.56 per annum (based on £13.45ph)
