Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Catering Assistant for Derby College Group – Roundhouse, Derby, DE24 8JE. The role is maternity cover, working Monday to Friday, 32.5 hours per week during term time. You will assist in daily unit operations, make drinks, serve food, and deliver excellent customer service.

No prior experience required, though 1–2 years in food services or retail is desirable. A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is desirable but training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Food hygiene Level 2 desirable; training will be provided.
• Experience in food services or retail is desirable (1–2 years).

Responsibilities

• Basic food preparation (sandwiches, grab-and-go, basic hot items).
• Serve students with excellent customer service.
• Stock deliveries and put away items.
• Serve food and clear tables, bins and trays.
• Maintain cleanliness of front- and back-of-house areas.
