Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join the team at Derby College Group - Roundhouse, Derby, DE24 8JE. You will assist in the day-to-day running of the unit, including drinks preparation, serving food to order, and delivering excellent customer service.

This maternity-cover role is based on site, with training provided and opportunities for progression within a world-leading contract catering company.

Qualifications

• Food hygiene certificate Level 2 desirable; training provided.
• 1–2 years' experience in food services or retail desirable.
• Able to work as part of a team and deliver customer service.

Responsibilities

• Basic food preparation when needed (sandwiches, grab and go, light hot items).
• Serve students and provide excellent customer service.
• Stock deliveries and housekeeping duties front and back of house.
• Clear tables and maintain cleanliness during service.
