Job summary

Dudley College of Technology is seeking a Catering Assistant to support food preparation, cooking and service across campuses. This term-time role will also cover rota hours from 8:00am to 6:30pm, with full-time and part-time options.

Candidates should hold at least a Level 1 professional cookery qualification or equivalent and have previous catering experience. Enhanced DBS and relevant safeguarding checks are required; the college is an equal opportunities employer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar environment.
• Willing to work a rota between 8.00am–6.30pm and across campuses.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, cooking and service to a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness of the catering area.
• Receive, store and maintain stock.
