Job summary

Dudley College of Technology is seeking a Catering Assistant to support food preparation, cooking and service across campuses. This term-time role will also cover rota hours from 8:00am to 6:30pm, with full-time and part-time options.

Candidates should hold at least a Level 1 professional cookery qualification or equivalent and have previous catering experience. Enhanced DBS and relevant safeguarding checks are required; the college is an equal opportunities employer.

£21,710 - £22,360 per annum, pro rata

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Catering Assistants. You will work with the Chef to assist in ensuring that the food preparation, cooking and service are all to a high quality and standard. You will maintain the cleanliness of the catering area and will support in receiving, storing and maintaining good. You will hold a minimum of a level one professional cookery qualification or equivalent and have previous experience of work in a similar environment. This post will work on a rota basis, and applicants must therefore be prepared to work between the hours of 8.00am – 6.30pm as well as being flexible to meet the business needs across different campus’.

All successful applicants will need to undertake an enhanced disclosure and barring service check and children and adults barred list checks where the applicant will be employed in a regulated activity.
