Job summary

Grow and Thrive Limited in Norwich is looking for a friendly Catering Assistant to support our school kitchen with basic food preparation and delivering great service during the lunchtime rush.

You will join a busy, supportive team and work term-time hours, 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with no late nights or weekends, earning £12.71 per hour.

Qualifications

• Team player who thrives in a busy school kitchen.
• Catering or fast-paced service experience.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices; Food Hygiene Level 2 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction: Working on the tills during service (training provided).
• Front-Line Service: Providing friendly, polite customer service to all students and staff.
• Essential Support: Assisting the team with basic food preparation.
• Maintaining Standards: Ensuring a safe, clean kitchen environment and Health and Safety compliance.
