Job summary

Rocklands Primary School in Attleborough is seeking a Catering Assistant to join Norse Catering on-site. This permanent, part-time role is 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday 11:30–13:30, term-time only.

You will help prepare and serve lunches, uphold high hygiene standards, and support the school team. An enhanced DBS check is required. Fully funded training and accreditation are provided; salary £12.71/hour (£25,777.12 pro-rata).

Qualifications

• Prior catering experience is preferred.
• Induction and training programmes are provided to support learning.
• Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and serving lunches for pupils and staff.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Set up service areas and tidy away after service.
