Caterlink is hiring a Catering Assistant at Lynn Grove Academy in Great Yarmouth. The role involves food preparation, service on tills, and keeping kitchens and dining areas clean. It is term-time only with no weekends, offering flexibility for the right candidate.

Salary is £12.71 per hour, with 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:30am to 2:30pm, across 38 weeks per year. Enhanced DBS check will be obtained.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or food service preferred.
• DBS disclosure required (enhanced) prior to employment.
• Able to work term-time with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing tasty food.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of kitchen, counter and dining areas.
• Provide friendly, efficient service to students and staff.
• Operate tills and handle cash as needed.
