Job summary

Tarleton Academy, part of Endeavour Learning Trust, is seeking a Catering Assistant for the dining team. The role is part-time (20 hours per week) during term-time, with daytime hours 10:45am–2:45pm, and includes inset days. Experience in food preparation and basic food hygiene is required. Visa sponsorship is not available.

You will work alongside the Catering Manager and team to prepare, serve, and maintain a clean dining area, contributing to a welcoming environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation
• Good understanding of basic food hygiene
• Flair for customer care
• Working independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food for the dining service
• Serve students and staff
• Keep the dining area inviting and clean
• Take part in every stage of the service alongside the Catering Manager and team
• Help create a welcoming dining experience for students and staff
