Stirling Council is seeking a motivated catering assistant committed to maintaining high food preparation and service standards. Initially based at one location, applicants will receive training as experience is not essential. A vacancy has occurred for a catering assistant who is motivated, interested, and takes pride in ensuring that a high standard of food preparation and service is maintained. Duties will include food preparation, basic cooking, food service, kitchen hygiene, and health and safety, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Experience in catering is not essential, as training will be provided. You will be initially based at one location but may be required to move locations with appropriate notice as the service requires.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application progresses after the interview, you will be asked to complete the necessary forms and verification process.
