Job summary

Bay CE School is seeking a Catering Assistant to join a busy secondary school kitchen team, delivering high quality, freshly prepared food for students and staff. The role is 16 hours per week, term time only, with potential for increased hours in the future.

You will assist with food preparation, uphold kitchen hygiene, and handle washing and clearing duties to keep the kitchen running smoothly. Closing date 9 October 2026; visits welcome.

As a Catering Assistant you will be involved in all aspects of food preparation, kitchen hygiene processes, and washing and clearing up duties to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.

The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service; be an excellent team player; have a safety mindset and demonstrate patience, resilience and determination to help our students. Visits to the school are welcome.
