Job summary

St Nicholas Catholic High School in Northwich is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant to support the catering team with food preparation, presentation, storage and cleaning to a high standard in the kitchen and dining room.

Experience is not essential; a background in a similar role or school environment is desirable. The role is 20 hours a week, term time plus INSET Days, with a pro-rated annual salary and staff benefits including free car parking and access to the on-site gym.

St Nicholas Catholic High School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to provide an effective and efficient service in assisting the Catering Team with food preparation, presentation, storage and cleaning to an excellent standard within the kitchen and dining room.

Prior experience is not essential although a background in a similar role and/or school environment would be desirable.

Staff benefits include free car parking, and onsite gym which staff can access before and after the school day.

Grade 2, SCP 2 Gross Annual Salary Range £25,949 to be pro-rated based on 20 hours per week over 40 weeks per year. Actual Salary between £12,413 Working mornings between 9.30pm and 13.30pm Monday to Friday - Term Time plus 5 INSET Days, and 1 week during the school holidays throughout the year for clean down.
