Job summary

Aspens Services Ltd, a market-leading contract caterer specialising in school food, is hiring a Catering Assistant in Burton-on-Trent. You will assist our kitchen with basic food preparation and deliver excellent service to students and staff during the lunchtime rush.

You will work Monday to Friday during school term time, 25 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, at £12.71 per hour. Training is provided for Health and Food Hygiene Level 2, with a focus on safety and quality in a busy school

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or fast-paced service environments.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Willingness to learn and train for role requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation and service.
• Handle tills during service and provide friendly customer service.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen and comply with health and safety standards.
