Job summary

CSVPA, part of CATS Global Schools, is seeking a Catering Assistant to support food and beverage service across the campus. The role focuses on food preparation, serving and cleanup, with emphasis on cleanliness and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

You will maintain hygiene standards and follow government policies, working across multiple service points. The position offers a supportive team, with benefits and progression opportunities within CGS.

Qualifications

• Good level of spoken and written English.
• Previous experience in an educational/facilities environment desirable.
• Ability to work using own initiative and within timeframes.
• Strong awareness of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Friendly, reliable and punctual.
• Flexible and adaptable to shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• To assist in producing meals at high volume, ensuring quality is maintained and value for money is achieved.
• To ensure all students & staff are getting a varied and balanced diet in accordance with Government legislation requirements.
• Deliver excellent customer service at multiple service points, and maintain cleanliness per HACCP/COSHH standards.
• Support stock control, cleaning schedules, waste reduction and food safety documentation.
• Represent the catering team and uphold school values of Excellence, Care and Community.
