Job summary

Impact Food Group is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our school catering team at Hope Valley College. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7.30am-2pm, term-time only, with 38 weeks per year, and a salary of £17,349.15 per annum.

You will work with the catering team to provide friendly, efficient service and maintain high hygiene standards on site. Applicants with customer service experience in catering or retail are welcome.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly manner.
• Experience in catering or retail environments is welcome.
• Able to work as part of a team in a busy school catering setting.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service.
• Assist in preparing food and snacks for the site.
• Serve customers at the counter and operate the till.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
