Job summary

Olive Dining Ltd is a school catering company serving students across London, Kent, Surrey and Essex. We are looking for a General Assistant to support front of house and back of house operations, including cleaning and food prep, in a friendly, professional kitchen environment.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 10:00am–2:00pm, term time only (38 weeks) with a pay rate of £12.83 per hour. Training and progression opportunities are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on approach to food preparation and service.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
• Experience in kitchens, school meals, or customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Support front of house and back of house operations.
• Carry out general kitchen duties, including cleaning and prep.
• Serve meals to students and staff in a friendly, professional manner.
• Follow hygiene and safety procedures at all times.
