Job summary

ISS UK Limited is seeking a Catering Assistant to join its hospital catering team in Greater London. You will prepare and serve meals, maintain high hygiene standards and deliver friendly, professional service to patients, staff and visitors.

The role is Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, permanent contract with an hourly rate of £16.76. You will work as part of a team to maintain efficient service and a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with food hygiene standards, safety regulations and service specifications.
• Support the delivery of catering services, responding to customer needs and ensuring meals and refreshments are served efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across kitchens, dining rooms and associated catering areas.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service, creating a welcoming experience for patients, staff and visitors.
• Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues, responding helpfully to enquiries about catering services and facilities.
• Contribute to improving service quality and efficiency by sharing ideas and supporting a positive, customer-focused working environment.
