New Inn Primary School, part of the Schools Catering Team run by Torfaen County Borough Council, is recruiting a catering assistant for 15 hours a week.

You will help with food prep, serving meals, cleaning, and operating cashless tills, while maintaining high hygiene standards and accurate record keeping.

An Enhanced DBS check is required, and Welsh language skills are welcome; the role demands pace in a busy kitchen and the ability to follow health and safety procedures.

A catering assistant post in the Schools Catering Team at New Inn Primary School, run by Torfaen County Borough Council, for 15 hours a week. The work covers food preparation, serving meals, cleaning the kitchen and dining hall, running the cashless tills and keeping accurate records. It suits someone who can work at pace in a busy kitchen and keep to strict hygiene standards. The role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and needs an Enhanced DBS check.
