Care UK is seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant in Witney to support meal preparation, kitchen cleanliness and safe storage of goods. You will assist with vegetable prep, sandwich making, and ensuring utensils and spaces meet hygiene standards.

The role includes carrying out tasks from the Head / Second Chef or Home Manager, with our Caring, passionate team values guiding daily work and resident-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen and related areas.
• Preparation of produce for mealtime, for example vegetable preparation and making of sandwiches
• Ensure correct storage of all dry and perishable produce.
• Safely storing cleaning materials
• Ensure all cooking utensils and pots are cleaned to the required standards
• Carry out any tasks assigned by the Head / Second Chef or Home Manager
