Job summary

Care UK is seeking a friendly Kitchen Assistant to join our welcoming team in Salisbury. You will help maintain a clean kitchen, assist with food preparation, and support meal service under the Head/Second Chef.

Qualifications

• Strong desire to help residents.
• Willingness to learn and follow training.
• Ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen and related areas.
• Preparation of produce for mealtime, e.g. vegetable preparation and making sandwiches.
• Ensure correct storage of all dry and perishable produce.
• Safely storing cleaning materials.
• Ensure all cooking utensils and pots are cleaned to required standards.
• Carry out tasks assigned by Head/Second Chef or Home Manager.
