Job summary

North Lanarkshire Council is inviting applications for a Catering Assistant in Motherwell. You will support daily food preparation, serve meals and beverages, and help maintain a clean, safe environment while delivering friendly customer service.

Applicants with catering experience and a valid Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate are preferred. You’ll join a team that values reliability, positive attitude, and teamwork, with PVG clearance arranged if successful.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or food service is desirable.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills are expected.
• Experience with till or cash handling is advantageous.
