Job summary

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant to work in the Main Kitchen at Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital. You will help prepare meals for inpatients and staff, with full training provided.

Shifts are early 07:30–15:00 or late 11:00–18:30, seven days a week. Food hygiene training is compulsory, and role may involve supporting the hospital coffee shop as needed.

Qualifications

• Food hygiene training is compulsory and will be provided.
• Catering experience is advantageous but not essential as full training is given.

Responsibilities

• Regenerating prepared meals
• Cold food preparation
• Cleaning and washing up
• Receiving and storing deliveries
• Assisting with HACCPs, food safety policies, Allergens and current legislation
