Catering Assistant - Flexible, Casual Food Court Support

Zusammenfassung

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a Catering Assistant to prepare, cook and serve food at County Hall’s Food Court in Leicester. You will help set up dining areas, move furniture, wash dishes and maintain clean service areas. Flexibility to work outside normal hours, including weekends, is required.

You will be part of a team delivering friendly, efficient service and must be able to lift and move kitchen equipment as needed. Training and safety guidelines will be provided.

Qualifikationen

• Have good numerical skills.
• Have previous food preparation experience with good food safety practice in accordance with legal requirements.
• Have basic knowledge of food safety and health and safety.
• Be able to establish rapport with customers and have problem solving skills.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Be able to lift and handle kitchen equipment and move dining furniture.

Aufgaben

• Prepare, cook and serve food and drinks to users of our Food Court at County Hall.
• Set up dining area and move tables/chairs as necessary, and prepare service areas.
• Wash dishes and other used items and clean equipment at the end of service.
• Provide great customer service and work as part of a team during service.
