Fierté Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant at Dosthill Primary Academy.

20 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and hardworking Catering Assistant to join our friendly school kitchen team. The successful candidate will support the preparation and service of nutritious, high-quality meals for pupils and staff while helping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in providing a positive dining experience for children.

The role will include

• 1. To undergo safeguarding training and any other training obligatory for school staff
• 2. To assist the team leader with the day to day running of the kitchen
• 3. To assist with food preparation and general cooking, as required
• 4. To move up to team leader in times of absence
• 5. To assist in the service of food to pupils ensuring children have equal choices and the opportunity to try new things
• 6. Assist with any requests for assistance with additional catering events as and when required
• 7. Able to works as part of a team
• 8. To comply with school policies and procedures
• 9. Any other duties that may be commensurate with the grade and nature of the post
• 10. To lease with other catering teams of staff to ensure the Fiertè Trust standards are met and comply to the catering vision
• 11. To promote the food offer positively through all school events
