You will be part of a friendly school kitchen team, with duties including safeguarding training, assisting with day-to-day kitchen operations, and helping with food preparation.

Qualifications

• Safeguarding training and other staff training are required.
• Assist with day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Assist with food preparation and general cooking as needed.
• Potential progression to team leader in absence.
• Support service of meals ensuring equal choices for pupils.
• Assist with additional catering events as required.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Comply with school policies and procedures.
• Other duties commensurate with the post.

Responsibilities

• Undergo safeguarding training and other obligatory school staff training.
• Assist the team leader with daily kitchen operations.
• Help with food prep and general cooking as required.
• May act as team leader in absence.
• Assist in serving meals and ensuring equal choices for pupils.
