Job summary

Gower College Swansea in Swansea is seeking reliable casual catering assistants to carry out simple food/snack preparation, serve food and beverages to learners and staff, and assist in cleaning the kitchen and related areas. You will be paid £13.45 per hour and will work on an ad hoc basis with no fixed hours, with payments made monthly in arrears.

This permanent post is based at the Tycoch campus. The college offers free parking, discounted gym membership, and access to discounted study

Casual Catering Assistants

The role:

We are currently looking for reliable catering assistants to carry out simple food/snack preparation, serve food and beverages to learners and staff and assist in the cleaning of the kitchen and associated areas.

• £13.45 per hour
• Permanent
• Tycoch campus
• You will have no fixed working hours, and will work on an ad hoc basis - provide sickness cover or temporary cover
• You will be paid a month in arrears e.g. any hours that you work in September, will be paid in October, and so forth

About you:

• Previous cash handling experience
• Awareness of food hygiene (food hygiene certificate is desirable)
• Team Player
• Customer service skills
