Job summary

Cinnamon is seeking a Kitchen Assistant at Outram Fields, Bradway, Sheffield. This full-time role, with a pay of £12.71 per hour plus benefits, sits in our catering team and supports the Head Chef in delivering high-quality, resident-focused meals.

You will follow health and safety guidelines, assist with food preparation, dishwashing and kitchen cleaning, and contribute to cost-effective stock control. Training opportunities may be available to gain qualifications in catering and food hygiene.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef, Chef and catering team to deliver services across the home.
• Prepare nutritional food and beverages to a high standard as directed.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in kitchen and storage areas.
• Prepare special diet meals as needed and as directed by the Head Chef.
• Provide feedback on residents' complaints and report to Head Chef.
• Support cost-effective stock control to minimise waste.
