Job summary

Cinnamon is opening Thurnby Fields in Leicester as a luxury care home and is hiring Kitchen Assistants to join the catering team.

You will support the Head Chef with food preparation, dishwashing and hygiene, ensuring resident choice and high standards; the home features 73 en-suite bedrooms, a cinema and an on-site café bar.

Qualifications

• Experience in a catering environment preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Commitment to food hygiene regulations.
• Physically able to carry out duties.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef and catering team to deliver all services across the home.
• Prepare nutritional meals and beverages to a high standard.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in kitchen and storage areas.
• Prepare special diet meals as directed.
• Provide feedback on resident complaints to improve the service.
• Support stock control to minimise waste.
