Interaction Recruitment Group is recruiting a Catering Assistant for a busy workplace catering operation in Peterborough (PE7). The role suits someone with catering or hospitality experience, offering consistent daytime hours from 07:00 to 15:00 on Monday to Friday.

£13.00 per hour with weekly pay; temporary agency role that provides exposure to an established catering environment and teamwork opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous catering or hospitality experience.
• Willingness to help across duties.
• Reliable and punctual with early starts.
• Good hygiene and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with breakfast and lunch service, ensuring friendly and efficient service.
• Set up and clear counters and service areas.
• Operate the till and handle customer transactions.
• Prepare basic food items, including sandwiches and salads.
• Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Clear plates and maintain tidy dining areas.
• Sweep, mop and wipe surfaces to maintain hygiene.
• Restock confectionery and catering supplies.
• Support deliveries and stock checks as required.
• Assist with general duties within the catering team.
