Job summary

Bede Academy invites applications for a Catering Assistant on a 27.5 hour per week basis, supporting our kitchen team in delivering nutritious meals during term time. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00–14:30, with free parking and a benefits package.

You will work within a high-quality, customer-focused environment and contribute to events across the academic year. We value a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a collaborative approach.

• Assist with daily catering operations and service to students, staff and visitors.

Catering Assistant, Secondary Campus, 27.5 hpw Monday to Friday 9:00 - 14:30, Term Time Only plus 5 working days

Bede Academy's kitchen is at the heart of daily school life, with our catering team producing hundreds of healthy, nutritious meals for students, staff and visitors every day, and catering for special events within the academic year.

We now have the opportunity to recruit a new member of staff to our catering team to help us deliver an even better service to the students and staff.

We Are Looking For a Team Member Who

• has catering experience in a high quality, customer focused environment;
• has a strong work ethic, high personal work standards and an attention to detail;
• is able to work supportively as a member of a team in order to deliver the team’s objectives, with good interpersonal skills;
• has a positive attitude and embraces change leading to improvement;
• can cope with the physical demands of the role.
