Job summary

Aramark in Bristol is recruiting a Catering Assistant on a temporary contract from 01 December 2026 to 01 October 2027. You will prepare sandwiches and salads, serve customers, and maintain cleanliness in a secure environment while supporting daily kitchen operations.

Role includes 35 hours per week at £13.24 per hour, with a Monday-Thursday pattern and a three-day weekend. Training, benefits, and progression opportunities are offered within a global organisation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a catering, kitchen, or customer service environment is preferred.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of sandwiches, salads, and other cold food items.
• Providing excellent customer service to customers and visitors.
• Supporting food service operations and counter service.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout kitchen and service areas.
• Assisting with washing up and general kitchen duties.
• Supporting stock replenishment and deliveries.
• Following food safety, health & safety, and company procedures at all times.
• Supporting the wider catering team with day-to-day operational requirements.
