Job summary

Aylsham High School is inviting applications for two Catering Assistants to join the school kitchen team in Norfolk. The roles are permanent, part-time, 33 hours per week (Mon-Thu 8:30am-2:30pm, Fri 8:30am-3:00pm) during term time plus 2 weeks. Salary is Scale B, point 4, £20,380.88 actual per annum.

Applicants should be reliable, energetic and capable of working both independently and as part of a small team. Early applications are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist the cook with food preparation and serving to pupils.

We are looking to appoint two enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed Catering Assistants on a permanent basis to join our team helping to deliver a range of hot and cold meals to our pupils.

Personal qualities are of paramount importance and the person appointed will be expected to display good energy, good humour and reliability. You should have the ability to work at pace independently as well as part of a small team.

You will play a vital role assisting our cook preparing and serving food from our well-appointed kitchen as well as having general washing up and cleaning duties.Working hours Monday to Thursday 8.30am-2.30pm / Friday 8.30am-3.00pm.
