Job summary

Aspens Services is hiring a Catering Assistant to support our school kitchen. You will work on tills during service, delivering friendly customer service to students and staff, and assist with basic food preparation to keep the lunchtime rush smooth.

We offer training, health and safety guidance, and a role with a Monday-to-Friday school-term schedule. DBS disclosure may be required; a driving licence is helpful for duties at multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Team player who thrives in a busy school catering environment.
• Experience in catering or fast-paced service is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices preferred.
• A full UK driving licence is required.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is helpful; training will be provided.

The role:

As a Catering Assistant, you will be a vital part of the team, supporting our kitchen in basic food preparation and delivering excellent service that makes the lunchtime rush run smoothly.
