Job summary

Aspens Services in Carlisle is seeking a Catering Assistant to support our school kitchen with basic food preparation and friendly service during the lunchtime rush.

You will work 15 hours per week across 38 weeks of the year, with training provided and the opportunity to gain Food Hygiene Level 2. You will join a busy team focused on safe, high-quality meals for students and staff.

Qualifications

• You are a team player and thrive in a busy team.
• Previous catering or fast-paced service experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices is expected.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is advantageous but training can be provided.

The role:

As a Catering Assistant, you will be a vital part of the team, supporting our kitchen in basic food preparation and delivering excellent service that makes the lunchtime rush run smoothly.
