Houston & Hawkes is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant for a part-time role in Uxbridge.

You’ll support morning prep, grab-and-go, and provide excellent service during lunch, with barista duties.

Hours are 8:30am–2:30pm, Monday to Thursday, 24 hours weekly, at £14.50 per hour, with afternoons free.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or hospitality roles.
• Barista experience is essential.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with morning kitchen preparation.

At Houston & Hawkes, we're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at a modern workplace in Uxbridge. You'll play an important role in the smooth running of the kitchen, helping with morning preparation, supporting our grab-and-go offer and delivering exceptional customer service during lunchtime.

THE ROLE

• Support the chefs with morning kitchen preparation
• Prepare and replenish the grab-and-go offer
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service during lunch service
• Prepare high-quality coffees and speciality drinks
• Keep food counters fully stocked and beautifully presented
• Maintain clean dining and service areas throughout the day
• Support the wider catering team wherever required
• Follow food safety, health and hygiene standards at all times

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Previous catering or hospitality experience
• Barista experience is essential
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
