Job summary

Houston & Hawkes is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our vibrant London campus kitchen. You’ll work with a talented brigade delivering fresh, seasonal dishes for a busy retail and events calendar.

This role offers variety, a chance to develop under an award-winning independent caterer, and a supportive team focused on quality ingredients and exceptional hospitality.

You’ll own your section, assist with stock control, and mentor junior staff while contributing new ideas for seasonal menus.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie.
• Passion for fresh food and modern hospitality.
• Experience in high-volume retail catering is advantageous.
• Ability to work well within a busy team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present fresh, seasonal dishes to the highest standards
• Take ownership of your section and ensure consistency throughout service
• Support a busy retail food offer and premium hospitality events
• Work closely with the senior kitchen team to deliver exceptional food every day
• Assist with stock control, ordering and food preparation
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness and presentation
• Support and encourage junior members of the brigade
• Contribute new ideas and help develop exciting seasonal menus

At Houston & Hawkes, we're looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join one of our most exciting locations. Based within a lively student campus, you'll work alongside a talented brigade delivering fresh, seasonal food with a strong retail offer while supporting hospitality and special events throughout the year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who enjoys variety, loves working with quality ingredients and wants to continue developing their skills within an award-winning independent caterer.

THE ROLE
